Most of our power tools batteries are made with the same Japanese battery cells used in OEM batteries, with the highest in industry standards. Our batteries are designed to original manufacturer's specifications, and will meet or exceed original MAKITA batteries. You can maximize the performance of your MAKITA battery by several steps. First, keep the MAKITA batteries clean - It is a good idea to clean dirty battery contacts with a cotton swab and alcohol. Second, exercise your battery - do not leave the battery dormant for long time. You can use the battery at least once every two to three weeks. If your power tool battery has not been used for a long time, perform the new battery break in procedure described above. Third, let the battery in storage - If you don't intend to use the MAKITA battery for a month or more, store it in a clean, dry, cool place away from heat and metal objects.
