Power Tool Battery Tips BOSCH Power Tools Battery Tips: Our power tool batteries were designed to work with your OEM BOSCH battery chargers. Most of our power tools batteries are made with the same Japanese battery cells used in OEM batteries, with the highest in industry standards. Our batteries are designed to original manufacturer's specifications, and will meet or exceed original BOSCH batteries. You can maximize the performance of your BOSCH battery by several steps. First, keep the BOSCH batteries clean - It is a good idea to clean dirty battery contacts with a cotton swab and alcohol. Second, exercise your battery - do not leave the battery dormant for long time. You can use the battery at least once every two to three weeks. If your power tool battery has not been used for a long time, perform the new battery break in procedure described above. Third, let the battery in storage - If you don't intend to use the BOSCH battery for a month or more, store it in a clean, dry, cool place away from heat and metal objects. Last, prevent the Memory effect - Keep the power tool battery healthy by fully charging and then fully discharging it at least once every two to three weeks.
